As some of you know I have been making chutneys and relishes for more years than I care to remember and I have been asked so many times to start "producing" these for purchase. No pressure!

Well, I have finally decided to bite the bullet and do it and NoShortcuts was born in December 2008… having an interesting few weeks getting it all underway I now have a small range of all of the old favourites ready to go.

If you, or someone you know, have any healthy fruit or veggies going to waste in the back yard, let me know and if possible we will use these natural products.

Remember NoShortcuts is homemade - just like mum made.

Gift Ideas

Chutneys can be gift wrapped

These are a wonderful addition to that gift box, as a small thank you or just when you want to take something when you go to your friends house for dinner. I can gift wrap any combination or singular choice requested and I can also make up gift hampers or baskets of your personal choice.
I am available for you to pick up from my home, handy especially if you have forgotten someone!

RECIPES & RECIPE BOOKS

If you have any old recipes that Nana used to make and have never had the time or the energy then I am happy to have a look at making these.
I continue my recipe book collection, you know - the dust collectors! If you have any old books that might have belonged to your mum or you’re Nana or her Nana and you don't want them, I would love to add them to my collection. And who knows there might be some real classics we can bring back to life for us all to enjoy. Thanx to those that have already parted with their treasures.

Anyway here are a couple of the comments received.
Thought your web site was great, easy , simple and easy to find out what.. I find sometimes web sites to busy,,, but yours looked great
Mustard pickle is my very favourite ...tasty and tangy
Tamarillo is lovely too...... a pity not available at present as would love to purchase more
AS you know,my favourites are the Tamarillo and the Chilli Jam, both are great for just about anything . I particularly like the Tamarillo with lamb chops or crumbed schnitzel , also is wonderful on an antipasto platter to have with salamis and cheeses.
The Chilli Jam is lovely with bland things to give them a bit of oomph... I gave a jar to my boss for Christmas and she tried some with chickpea patties she had made..... she came to work saying how great their meal was with this addition
